After moving to the island from Essex in 1999, Sarah studied Travel and Tourism at the IW College with the aim of being a travel agent. She later pursued a career in finance, obtaining her AAT and Payroll Bureau qualifications. She now works as a freelance bookkeeper which gives her the flexibility to be a taxi driver/football kit washer/snack runner and all-round multitasking mum to her son!

For the last five years Sarah has also been Treasurer for her son’s primary school PTA, where she has helped to organise fundraising events and help to provide extra resources, treats and experiences for the pupils.

In her spare time she enjoys walking her two dogs and being by the sea.
