Mr Richard Peace

Senior Leader – Safeguarding/SENCO, DSL

Mr Peace was educated at a grammar school, and went on to attain a degree in Applied Sciences, a Master’s degree in Oceanography, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

He is a keen sportsman who has coached golf, football and cricket to a high standard and is currently the club captain of his local golf club. He is also a keen musician who plays guitar and has been lead vocalist for a variety of bands.

Experience

Mr Peace is a highly experienced pastoral lead, having been the Head of Year for The Island Free School’s first cohort, as well at other schools prior to this.

Mr Peace leads a team of dedicated support staff, who strive to achieve our vision for all pupils to reach their full potential, with academic and pastoral support.

Our most recent Ofsted report graded the pastoral care of children as ‘outstanding’. Alongside his senior leadership and SENCO roles, Mr Peace teaches GCSE Geology; sharing his passion for the subject with our Geologists of the future!

My Goals

My goal is to attain a scratch handicap in golf.
