Although Lisa has not previously been a school governor, she has relevant experience through her involvement with her children’s primary school PTA and her wider voluntary work.

As a PTA member Lisa worked with school staff and parents to support school activities and represent parent views, helping to strengthen the school community. Lisa’s voluntary roles have also developed skills such as responsibility, communication, and confidentiality, which Lisa considers essential in her role as a governor.
