The TIFS Year 8 cricket side played in a Tri Tournament vs The Bay and Christ The King. TIFS finished the tournament with one win and one loss, but it was superb to see the team’s hard work over the winter pay off with the players showing some real play quality.

In game 1 TIFS bowled first, limiting The Bay to 113. Unfortunately we got bowled out for 70 runs but some gutsy batting by Denny L showcased his skills when the game was far out of reach. 

In game 2 we played Christ The King and special mentions go to  Archie B and Cayden M (who were playing in their very first game for TIFS) were both on hat trick balls. We were chasing 60 runs off 6 overs, however time wasn’t on our side, which meant we had to chase down 33 in 3 overs. However, excellent batting by Evan M and Will K pulled us over the line with a few balls spare!
