Pupils went across to Rew Valley where they took part in a range of fun sporting activities, to win points for their house.

They participated in track events, field events and even traditional events such as the sack race and egg and spoon race. Inside Rew Valley Sports Centre they also took part in team games of badminton and seated volleyball, as well as timed events in our gym.

The afternoon culminated in the traditional Whole School Relay, before the points from the day were confirmed and the winners of the House Trophy were announced by Mr Boyd. This year the House Trophy went to….. Viridis, for the first time since our very first school sports day.

We must recognise how fantastic our pupils were today – with their effort, engagement and wonderful support for eachother. Their sportsmanship today was of the highest calibre and made the event even more memorable and enjoyable.

These events could not run so smoothly without the huge efforts of staff, who organise, run and participate alongside our pupils, so thank you must go to all staff.
