On Monday Year 10 Latin GCSE pupils went on a trip to Brading Roman Villa. They were given a tour of the villa by Mr Brown, which was very informative, and taught them all about what life would have been like at Brading during the Roman period. Pupils also had a talk by an expert on typical Roman dining, where they learnt about what the Roman diet would generally have consisted of and what poor and rich Romans may have eaten. They then had a chance after lunch to explore the gardens to find out the types of food the Romans may have grown.
