On Wednesday, Miss King and Mrs Suter took 11 pupils to watch the ‘Dickens Revision on Tour’ performance of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde at Kings Theatre in Southsea.

Pupils watched the production which features all key characters as well as the author Robert Louis Stevenson, which allowed pupils to see the contextual background behind the creation of the novella.

Pupils also engaged in a Q&A session with the actors at the end, discussing topics involving staging choices and character interpretation.
