As you may remember, the more experienced knitters in our knitting enrichment group are knitting little hats for ‘The Big Knit’, which is a fundraiser for Age UK, organised by Innocent Smoothies. The little hats go onto the drink bottles and are sold in supermarkets in December. Every hat knitted raises 25p to help Age UK provide much-needed services to support the elderly.

If anyone has knitted little hats, we can send them off with ours, but would ask that they be brought into school before Monday 20th June.

Alternatively they can be dropped into any Age UK shop or the local Isle of Wight office. The deadline for collection of little hats is in June, so we would ask that they be brought into school before the 20th June.
