On Friday 12th February, Years 7, 8 & 9 took part in an “Unplugged Day”. Pupils were not set lessons but had the chance to get involved in activities away from their computer screens. The theme for the day was ‘Express Yourself’ and pupils were asked to engage in creative activities in line with this theme. From colouring to knitting, baking to climbing, balloon creation and building bug hotels…we were delighted with how pupils engaged with this enrichment-style day!

The Art department have shared photographs of some of the amazing bug hotels which were created by pupils on the TIFS Art Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/tifsart/) and will be having a week-long exhibition of Bug Hotels and Insect Houses inspired by famous architecture… look out for the amazing “Bugworts”, “Wembug Stadium”, and of course “Arch de Bug Hotel”!
