On Thursday 9th February, The Island Free School hosted our first ever careers fair, which Year 10 were delighted to attend as part of their careers programme. We welcomed a range of exhibitors to the event; from further and higher education providers to representatives from the world of engineering, manufacturing, equestrian, medical, and many more! Pupils made excellent use of this opportunity, and visited plenty of stalls (and an ambulance!) to have conversations about potential future careers and training opportunities. Our guests commented on how engaged and mature the year group were, and were very impressed with their conduct and confidence in asking questions.
