“The Barber of Seville” Music Scholar Trip

On Monday 26th September 30 music scholars, together with Mr Hitt, Mr Balch and Miss Batchelor, travelled by train to London Waterloo and then on to The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. There we were treated to an amazing performance of Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville”. The venue was very grand, the singing was incredible and the orchestra sublime. Rossini’s opera is a comedy, and there were many laugh out loud moments.

“As the opera was performed in Italian, I found it interesting following the story. I really enjoyed it!” – Sophie T.

This was a fabulous opportunity for our music scholars and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
