On 13th February 2019 nine pupils from Year 8, 9 and 11 participated in the annual Rotary Club Youth Speaks event at the Riverside Centre Newport. This is a prestigious event that enables young people to practise the art of speaking in public and pupils are judged against a rigorous criteria. Our pupils spoke about topics that were important to them, and judges and audience members were impressed with their poise, enthusiasm and eloquence. Abigail R, Silas B, Kaitlyn S, Emily C, Emily D, Ines D, Sam S, William W and Jack P were excellent representatives of the school and we are incredibly proud of them.
