On Tuesday 16th October 2018, thousands of young people across the UK were given the opportunity to learn how to help restart the heart of someone who has suffered a cardiac arrest.
Thanks to the Ambulance Training and Community Response Services on the Isle of Wight, we had the pleasure of opening up this opportunity to all of our Year 9
pupils.
During the school day, pupils took the short trip to Ventnor fire station, where they participated in an interactive Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training and Defibrillator Awareness session.
Well done to everyone involved!
