Recently, Carter and Louis, both from year 10, travelled to Nottingham to represent the Wessex region at the Junior Inter Regional Regatta in the J15 Double Sculls. 

Competing against 11 other regions from across England and Wales, they progressed through the heats ultimately achieving a gold medal in the final, crossing the finish line 3 lengths in front of their closest challenger. This confirmed them as currently the fastest J15 Doubles crew in England and Wales and secured their place at the British Championships later this year in Strathclyde, Scotland. 

Louis and Carter also competed at Newport Regatta this weekend, rowing up a rear to race in the J16 Single Sculls. Both boys won their semi-final, leaving them to battle it out against each other in the final which was won by Louis, securing the top spot at just 14 years old.
