On Remembrance Sunday, Isabelle W and Bethanie M in Year 9 attended the Bournemouth Town Memorial Service, where tribute was paid by hundreds of people for the 63 sailors who lost their lives on HMS Phoebe during the Second World War. Isabelle played ‘The Last Post’ and ‘Reveille’ on her trumpet, with Bethanie assisting with her sheet music in the cold, windy air. The members of the HMS Phoebe Association greatly appreciated the fact that the girls gave up their free time to make the service memorable, and they were wonderful representatives of the school.
