Experience

Mrs Breach joined The Island Free School with over 20 years’ experience in a variety of educational settings (state, independent, middle and primary schools). She is an accomplished Head of Year and Humanities teacher with a wealth of pastoral experience.

Mrs Breach has very high expectations of her pupils and is rarely disappointed. The Times Educational Supplement wrote an article about how she inspired former student Lizzy Yarnold MBE, who won a Gold medal in the 2014 Winter Olympics (Skeleton). This was one of her proudest moments and it still makes her cry when she thinks about it!

Her many creative interests include drama, needlework and cake making. She is also an experienced coach of sports including lacrosse, rounders and cricket.

My Goals

“I thoroughly enjoy working with our pupils to pull out and nurture their individual talents – this is a school where everyone can shine.”
