Mr Max Henley

Sports Coach

Mr Henley was born on the Isle of Wight and grew up in Brading. He attended the Island Free School as a member of our very first cohort, where he completed his GCSE’s in 2019.
He is a talented rugby player and still often plays rugby for a local team.

Experience

When Mr Henley left the Island Free School in 2019 he went to Ryde School to complete his IBCP alongside playing rugby and hockey. After Ryde School Mr Henley spent 4 year at University in Cardiff to complete his degree while still playing rugby. While at University Mr Henley was a sports conditioning coach for high level athletes in many different sports including Welsh athletics, Cardiff Met football academy and tennis players.

My Goals

Mr Henley wants to inspire pupils who love playing rugby and ensure more people can play at a higher level. He also wants to develop a consistent, competitive girls team at the school.
