This week, as part of our Maritime History enrichment, a handful of pupils went to Greenwich for a tour of the National Maritime Museum. The group were privileged to have a personal tour from Southampton University lecturers John McAleer and Craig Lambert; who have both been working with the pupils during their Enrichment for 12 weeks, on a nationally funded Maritime project.

The pupils were congratulated on their knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for the topics we have studied. They have also contributed articles which will be published on the project’s websites in the near future…watch this space for updates!
