On Wednesday 15th May the Year 10 GCSE Drama class took a trip to the Mayflower Theatre to see the award winning production of the Life of Pi. The group were very lucky to have fantastic seats with an excellent view of the actors, innovative set and beautiful puppets. After a discussion with the pupils they shared the following feedback about the performance:

‘Absolutely gorgeous, the puppetry was very realistic and convincing.’

‘The set was very clever, the puppetry was phenomenal and the acting was outstanding.’

‘Such an incredible emotive story with a powerful message.’

‘Very good acting that provoked a lot of emotion.’

We had a wonderful afternoon and as always our pupils were fantastic; they now have lots to write about in their mock exam later this year!
