TIFS Year 7 Boys travelled to St John’s Leatherhead to participate in a Rugby festival which took place on Thursday 25th November 2021. The team played incredibly well and displayed courage and commitment against very experienced schools, such as Riddlesdown Collegiate and Collingwood College.

The TIFS Boys team finished 6th out of 11 teams, narrowly losing the 5th place match to the Quest Academy 2-1. Attacker of the day went to Cian S-B. and defender of the day went to Dylan W.

On Monday 29th November, the KS3 Girls’ Rugby team played their first ever game of contact rugby against Ryde School. The TIFS Girls exhibited incredible skills and determination. Most Valuable Player of the day was awarded to Matilda B.

Mr Marriott was extremely happy with both teams’ effort and is looking forward to more pupils participating in Rugby enrichment next term, having planned more fixtures for the New Year.
