Last weekend, 5 Girls Active Leaders travelled to Loughborough University to attend a residential camp provided by The Youth Sports Trust. The pupils experienced a variety of workshops focusing on communication, teamwork and leadership. Pupils also participated in street dance, netball, taekwondo and fencing, all delivered by National Governing Bodies.
“I am extremely proud of the way the girls conducted themselves and engaged with the camp. They particularly enjoyed the opportunity to participate in fencing and experience life at a university campus. TIFS Girls Active Leaders will now organise an event to run in the summer term for all female pupils.” -Miss Sheen, Girls Active Lead Mentor.
