Our final Year 8 Further Education visit took place last week, with 8 Viridis heading over to discover Brockenhurst College. After a welcome from the Vice Principal, Viridis explored their Post-16 options with the Brockenhurst Careers Advisor. Pupils were super engaged, and it was fantastic to see them all really considering what they might enjoy studying, and where it might take them. They were then given the opportunity to tour the site, visiting the many different departments, and finding out more about the courses on offer. As always, the pupils represented the school beautifully, and we were very proud of them.

At the end of the visit there was even time to stroll a little way into the New Forest to meet the ponies and find out about this unique place. 

Our Year 8 pupils now move into the next stage of choosing their GCSE options, with Options Week coming up, and we are pleased to have provided these visits as part of this process, helping them to connect what they choose now to what they might do further into their futures.
