As our first school term draws to a close, we would like to share some of the fantastic things that the pupils at TIFS have been up to recently…
Last Friday, a handful of pupils from each year group were selected to visit Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park for the first Ethos Trip of the year. The pupils were chosen at random from a pool of names, all of whom had 100% attendance for the term. The pupils, along with Miss Kerley, Mr Williams and Miss Allcock, had a brilliant (and freezing!) time on the trip.
On Monday morning, mentor groups entered into serious competition to be crowned the best decorated classroom. The theme this year was “Festive Films”, which was judged by Mr Boyd and Miss Coshell. Some of the room themes included The Polar Express, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Home Alone. At the end of the day, Year 9 Rosea were declared the winners with their fantastic snowman made entirely from plastic cups! As a prize, the class were invited to decorate the Christmas tree in the school reception. Later in the week, TIFS pupils and staff donned their festive jumpers, hats and reindeer antlers for a whole day.
