Huge congratulations to all our year 7 pupils who have now completed their first ever end of year exam week.

Last week pupils sat formal exams in all baccalaureate subjects (English, maths, science, history, geography and latin) and have completed moderated practical exams in all creative subjects. All written exams have now been sent off for external marking and moderation with results expected back in next week.

All exams were conducted under GCSE exam conditions and we have been delighted by the outstanding attitude displayed by all pupils in the run up to, and completion of the exam season.

Mr Boyd said, “ I am, once again, amazed by the outstanding maturity and pride shown by our pupils. They have all revised hard for these exams highlighting just how important their education is to them. Ensuring that all exams are now externally marked and moderated is of equal importance as this will highlight to the community and the pupils themselves the extraordinary progress they have made this year.”
