Every Wednesday this term a small group of students have been attending a cookery course at ‘At Sarah’s House’ in Ventnor as part of their enrichment programme.

On Wednesday 25th March, those students held a tea party for family members, to showcase their talents and celebrate their progress over the last couple of months. Some of the delights on offer were: fruit scones with jam and cream, cucumber sandwiches, caramel-filled cupcakes with chocolate and vanilla frosting and an enormous chocolate cake which the children covered with Maltesers!

The parents (and some staff members who were lucky enough to receive an invite) had tea and treats brought to them at their table and were astounded by the quality of the baking, decorating and service. The feedback from parents on the day was overwhelmingly positive, well done to our star bakers!
