On Thursday 9th March, we were pleased to welcome serving members of the British Army to TIFS for an Elite Skills and Careers Day.

Pupils in Year 10 had a careers presentation delivered by CPL Jallow which they found interesting and engaging. They were surprised by the range of roles in the Army, from logistics to medical and plenty inbetween!

For the remainder of the day, pupils took part in a rotation of practical activities with CPL Holly Barden and her team to simulate real-life situations within the Army, building on their teamwork, communication, numerical thinking and coordination.

Pupils had a great day, and worked really well together, and with the soldiers. Well done Year 10!
