Huge congratulations to the TIFS 2020 Cohort on their brilliant GCSE results. Pupils, parents, and staff are rightly celebrating a fantastic set of exam results, with 73% of our pupils passing both Maths and English; 55% of these achieved a strong pass (GCSE 5+) in the same measure, and over 25% of the student body achieved Grade 7’s or higher in each of these core subjects.

Of particular note this year are the outstanding Maths, History, and Art results. 84% of Year 11’s passed Maths, with a stunning 72% of these pupils achieving a strong pass (GCSE 5+), 20% higher than the national pass rate. In History, 82% of pupils achieved a pass (GCSE 4+), with 72% of these achieving a strong pass (GCSE 5+). In Art, an incredible 100% of pupils achieved a pass (GCSE 4+), with 72% of these achieving a strong pass (GCSE 5+). 

We are incredibly proud to report that these are among the strongest results ever achieved at TIFS.

A GCSE grade 5 was the average grade achieved by our pupils in all exams taken in all subjects.

At the heart of these impressive results is the incredible work ethic, steadfast resilience, and unrelenting positivity of parents, staff, and, of course, the pupils themselves.
