On Tuesday, the Year 8 Basketball team participated in The Island Basketball Tournament, with the Year 9 team participation in the one held on Wednesday. Despite the lack of training sessions for both teams’, Mr Suter was incredibly impressed with how well the boys performed as a team and their demonstration of skills and professionalism.

The year 8 pupil awarded with the best winning shots of the tournament was Jack J-J for scoring a great 3 pointer. Jack B displayed great solo effort in the tournament, hence was awarded with the same for the Year 9 team.

The teams’ and Mr Suter both look forward to taking part in more basketball fixtures in the future.
