On Wednesday, the Year 7 Girls Netball Team took part in their first ever match, playing against Cowes Enterprise College.

The team were an exceptional example of our school community. They worked fantastically as a team, encouraged one another, and put their best effort in to the game, resulting in winning the match.

As the game progressed, they displayed wonderful passing into space and their defensive pressure increased.

Miss Sheen’s player of the match was Mia L for her vision when feeding the ball into the circle and movement into space, which supported bringing the ball through from attack to defence.

The team were outstanding, and Miss Sheen looks forward to taking them to many more fixtures next term. Well done Girls!
