During their final lessons the Year 11 Geologists had a friendly competition of volcano making. They were tasked with constructing model volcanoes from cardboard, yogurt pots and paper mache. Once constructed, their challenge was to use vinegar, baking soda and food colouring to create a volcanic eruption. Pupil groups were marked out of 10 for design, style and eruption, with the winning group receiving a prize from Mr Peace. The winning group from class A was Bianka A, Tilly C, Megan B and Warwick O. The winning group from class B was Alicia E, Dan B, Max W, Wilfy R and Harry T.
