Under 14 HAMPSHIRE CUP (Hockey) – Southampton Sports Centre.

TIFS entered the Cup competition for the first time in their history. Up until now TIFS haven’t played in the Trophy but it was felt that the chance to compete at the highest level in Hampshire would be taken this season, as a reflection of the strength across the Year groups and the number of proficient players.
The competition was held at Southampton Sports Centre on a warm and sunny afternoon with ideal conditions for playing hockey.
The team played 5 games, drawing in two of them and losing the other 3. Their final game was abandoned before it started, due to a serious injury to a player from the opposing team.
The team played with great enthusiasm and commitment throughout. Mr Milton was exceptionally proud of their achievements in this particular competition and is already looking forward to next year. Many thanks to Miss Antwiss who accompanied the team for the day.
