The Island Free School won the Girls Under 13 cup to add to their indoor success earlier in the year.

In a captivating game, Sandown Bay Academy were put into bat and finished on a modest score of 66 for the loss of 4 wickets due to tight bowling and fielding from the TIFS girls.

TIFS were confident in chasing the score down but with the loss of regular wickets, the game concluded in a thrilling fashion. TIFS required 6 to win off the last 2 balls and Kelsie J, making her debut on the cricket team proved up to the challenge. Kelsie struck the penultimate ball for 4, followed by the last ball for 2 to win the game for the Island Free School.
