On Tuesday 8th March, 12 pupils ventured to Basingstoke to represent the Isle of Wight in the Hampshire Schools’ U12/U13/U14 Cross-Country Championships.

All pupils demonstrated phenomenal spirit in supporting not only their own team, but all runners participating in the event.

Out of hundreds of pupils taking part, only the top 16 runners from each field qualified to the next stage of the competition. Each and every pupil from TIFS must be incredibly proud of their achievement in making it to this event and representing the school so excellently. A very special congratulations must go to Katie B in year 8 who came 8th in her category and will go on to represent the Isle of Wight at the next stage.
