Mr Jake Green

Teacher of Geography

Mr Green was brought up and educated on the Isle of Wight. Within the school he supports students to achieve their potential by providing them with differentiated work so that they can best access the curriculum. He is passionate about what he does and really hopes to make a difference to the pupils at the Island Free School.

In his spare time, Mr Green follows the American Football season and attempts to keep up with current events.

Experience

Mr Green attained A Levels in English Literature, Environmental Science and Geography. Mr Green then went on to Aberystwyth University to study a BSc in Geography. He is interested in the Politics of Place and how places become significant sites of memory.

He started at the Island Free School in April 2016 as a Learning Support Assistant.

My Goals

My goal is to get our pupils excited about the world around them and to facilitate the development of inquisitive minds.
