34 TIFS musicians have participated in the Isle of Wight Music, Dance and Drama festival over the last few weeks. Events began with the vocal classes on Sunday 27th February at Shanklin Theatre, before moving to Ryde for the instrumental classes which ended on March 10th. These were held at All Saints Church and the Methodist church on Garfield Road.

An amazing 39 classes were entered in total and everyone was a great credit to the school. TIFS pupils were placed 1st in 21 of the classes entered, which is a superb achievement. The comments from the adjudicators consistently praised the musicians’ preparation and commitment and several received a Distinction grading.
