Mrs Rosie Hill
Learning Support Assistant
Mr French was born on the Island, completing his GCSE’s in 2019 at the Island Free School as part of the first cohort. He studied History at the University of Kent, and then went on to complete a Masters degree at Trinity College, University of Cambridge.
Outside of school, he loves reading and writing. He also has a passion for amateur theatre, both acting in and directing, many plays.
After finishing his A Levels, Mr French did volunteer work as an English teacher for a monastery in Nepal. He has experience in hospitality and has also worked in public outreach for the University of Kent’s humanities department.
I aim to support every child in helping them excel in school to the best of their ability. I want to promote the importance of education in an ever-changing world, especially the humanities. Eventually, I hope to complete a doctorate in History.
