Mr Aaron Hartup

Head of Year 9 & Teacher of PE

Mr Hartup was educated at a grammar school in Kent before moving to the Island in
2012. Mr Hartup attended the University of Central Lancashire where he attained a
degree in Sports Coaching before completing his PGCE at Winchester University.
He is very passionate about sports and can often be found at weekends either
playing, spectating or officiating. He also has a love for live events whether it be
concerts, festivals or comedy gigs.

Experience

Mr Hartup spent 2 years working at Summer Camps in America, between his university years, where he found his passion for teaching and working with young people. On his return to the UK he began his teacher training through Winchester University, achieving his PGCE before beginning his career as a teacher.
