On Monday 13th March, pupils in year 8 Rosea visited Havant and South Downs Campuses to find out about further education in the local area, and how their GCSE choices might impact their future pathways.
Pupils experienced a tour of both the sixth form and vocational Campuses, and listened to a talk about what it is like to be a student studying at HSDC. They were interested to learn about the support available for transport from the island, as well as the new courses (such as T-Levels) that they could study in the future. Pupils also thought the climbing wall, the Media room, recording studios and mock aeroplane were exciting to see, and were fascinated with the Geology A Level classroom!
Thank you to the staff at HSDC for hosting Rosea for the day.
