On Thursday 5th March 2015 it was World Book Day. To celebrate, the students and staff were invited by The Island Free School Student Leadership Team to come into school dressed as a character from a book, in exchange for a monetary contribution. Costumes were encouraged to be as imaginative and creative as possible. The money contributions will be used to purchase more books for use in class reading time and students will be asked to help choose them.

A grand total of £84.90 was raised, well done to all; this was a truly special day.
