The school transformed into a literary wonderland as we celebrated World Book Day this Thursday. Students were invited to dress as their favourite characters and they made a fantastic effort with their costumes.

Staff also fully entered into the day and students were set a quiz to guess all staff characters. Winners of this quiz will be announced next week. Staff were given a golden ticket each to award to the student they felt encapsulated the spirit of World Book Day.
The house who collected the most tokens will earn points towards the house trophy this term.

This was an excellent day and an effective reminder on the joys and importance of reading.
