TIFS were drawn away to St. Theresa’s School, Effingham, Surrey in the last 32 of this national competition. This was always going to be a tough away day, the intrepid TIFS team left school at lunch for a 4:30pm start in darkest Surrey under the lights.

The team worked tirelessly for each other during the game, constantly trying to turn defence into attack and even had a goal dis-allowed!? However a dominant display of hockey by St.Theresas, coupled with a slick short-corner routine saw the TIFS team lose out this year.
The end of the match was celebrated with pizza on the pitch and a journey home that saw the team catch the 8pm ferry.
