The Under 15 Girls team were lucky enough to play at the National finals last May as U13

winners. They travelled to Bristol as Island Champions, knowing they had a tough task ahead, as they had now moved up an age group.

The first two matches went to plan as our team comprehensively beat the Welsh Champions (Cathedral school) and then had a wonderful victory over Clifton College. The next match

went the way of Canford School, as did the final pool match, which saw a narrow loss against

Taunton School. This meant the girls finished on the same points as Plymouth College but TIFS

missed out on a semi-final place due to the amount of runs scored, which was less than

Plymouth.

The competition had been close all the way through and every team member had

chipped in with some great fielding, bowling and batting. The team now looks forward to

moving outdoors and some warmer weather for their fixtures.
