The Under 12 girls played their first fixture this week against a very competent Priory side.
TIFS scored their first goal in the 1st minute but were made to work really hard for the rest of the first quarter, until a second goal just before quarter time which gave TIFS a comfortable lead. However, Priory came back into the game scoring two very quick goals to even the score (2-2) at half-time.

In the second half the TIFS girls worked hard to regain the initiative and this was reflected by them scoring 3 goals and winning 5-2.

Mr Milton commented: “A great first game with lots to work on before our visit to PGS next week”.

Well done everyone and a special mention to Faith and Alice who played in goal for both teams – an exceptional debut by both.
