On Friday 3rd December, we held our Winter Concert, our first live event since 2020.

The evening was a brilliant opportunity to showcase the Music Scholar groups, with Year 7 and 8 playing the French Christmas carol, ‘Il est nes le divin Enfant’ and then ‘Better Together’, which was accompanied by the Brass Ensemble.
The Brass Ensemble also played a lively version of ‘Let it Snow’.

The older scholars gave spirited performances of ‘Last Christmas’ and ‘Rocking Around the Christmas Tree’.
The choir, which included pupils and staff, created a great atmosphere with ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ and the night consisted of many other highlights. These included wonderful solo performances from Ruby B, Annabelle S and Zzahra G. Ellen C gave the premier of her striking composition, ‘Running in the Snow’.

The Jazz Ensemble brought the evening to a close with a lively performance of Slade’s ‘Merry Christmas Everybody’.
We are extremely proud of everyone who took part and showcased their wonderful talents.
