On Tuesday 1st of March our u13 girls hockey team travelled to Southampton to compete in the Hampshire U13 7’s tournament.
The tournament was organised as a round robin with all 7 teams playing each other in 10 minute games. Our girls played fantastically well in all their games with results as follows:
TIFS 1 – 0 King’s School
TIFS 3 – 0 Bohunt
TIFS 3 – 1 Thornden
TIFS 2 – 0 Alton Convent
TIFS 1 – 0 Farnborough A
TIFS 4 – 0 Farnborough B
A clean sweep of 6 wins out of 6 games meant that our girls were worthy tournament champions. This emphatic win is testament to all the hard work the girls and coach Mr Milton have put in this season.
