On the 14th and 15th July, we held our KS3 and KS4 Summer Concerts, featuring 120 pupils over the two evenings. Each concert showcased the range and depth of talent at TIFS. As the audience entered the building they were able to view an astonishing collection of visual art created by the Year 9 GCSE pupils, organised by Ms Travers and the Art Department. In the hall, there were performances by the Music Scholars and ambassadors, talented soloists, duets and trios.
On Friday evening, the musicians were joined by the GCSE dancers for a series of striking routines choreographed by Mrs Paul. The warm reception from the audience helped everyone to their very best.
The attached video clip is of the brass group performing ‘Summer Holiday’ on tour around the school this week.
We’re incredibly proud of them all and some have already started practising for our next concert!
