On Monday 12th October 29 Year 8’s attended their cast workshop at Medina Theatre as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival. This is a UK wide event seeing over 1000 schools performing 30min adaptations of Shakespeare’s classic plays.

The workshop was run by the Festival directors and allowed students to present an extract from Hamlet; our chosen play. We received extremely positive feedback and have come away with lots of ideas to develop our performance further.
The students were exemplary in their approach to the workshop and we are excited about the upcoming production.

Hamlet will be performed at Medina Theatre on November 16th at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased directly from the theatre box office (01983 823884). We hope you can come and support the students in what promises to be a super evening.
