Royal Opera House visit

Yesterday, 40 students comprising of our Music Scholars and those identified as Gifted and Talented in Music, enjoyed a trip to The Royal Opera House in London to see ‘The Marriage Of Figaro’ at a schools only matinee.

The production running at three hours and ten minutes kept students enthralled with its stunning set pieces and costumes – as well as the powerful music of course!

Mrs Riches said ‘the students enjoyed a wonderful chance to watch an Opera at one of the most famous Opera Houses in the world. They behaved impeccably and were excellent ambassadors for The Island Free School’s music department’.
