It will soon be time for our Year 8 pupils to consider which subjects they wish to take forward into KS4. To highlight the importance of their decision and show them where success at GCSE could take them, we have been busy visiting both on and off-Island colleges. On 14th February, Year 8 Rosea visited Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Southampton.
The pupils enjoyed a talk and short film all about life at the college; they looked at the various courses available, be it vocational or A-level. They then enjoyed practical sessions in both Sports and Musical Theatre and concluded with a tour of the campus.
