Set in the grounds of Northwood House, the Classic Isle Music Festival featured some of the world’s finest singers and musicians and a host of talented young Island performers. Island Free School music scholar Cameron Tarry was invited to perform three piano pieces at the festival, taking the stage directly after the world renowned Kew Wind Orchestra.

Cameron admitted a few nerves as he waited to go on stage though , “ I was only really worried that my hands would be too cold to play properly”. Any worries proved unfounded as he played wonderfully in front of a large, knowledgeable audience and received rapturous applause as he completed his set.

Cameron then dashed off for his scorn gig of the day as he was booked to play a charity gig in aid of the British Heart Foundation alongside fellow TIFS pupils Megan, Rassmussen, Ollie Glanville, Ted Henly and Eli Tucker.
